Abstract

ABSTRAK This study aims to know how the development assistance programs personality muslims integral (P3KMI) in faculty of Islamic education and teacher training (FITK) IAIN Surakarta; to know how the implementation of bilingual faculty in faculty of Islamic education and teacher training (FITK) IAIN Surakarta, and to know how the role of development assistance personality muslims integral programs (P3KMI) and bilingual faculty in developing the competence in faculty of Islamic education and teacher training (FITK) IAIN Surakarta. Method used in research is qualitative approach. Techniques of collecting data in this research are interview, direct observation of the implementation of P3KMI and bilingual faculty, and the study documents. Data analysis techniques using interactive analysis started from collecting data, reducing data, displying data, and conclusion retrieval. To test the validity used credibility, transfermability, conformability, and dependibility. The research results show that the implementation of learning P3KMI with a mentoring model of learning with their pairs. Methods used namely: sema’an, recitation, question and answer, discussion, sharing, assignment, presentation, practice and tausiah. The material studied namely al-Quran, hadist, qoidah ushul fiqih, fiqih worship and further Islamic discourse. Evaluation of P3KMI conducted by P3KMI team, guardian lecturers, and lecturer. Bilingual faculty implementation done through classroom model and mentoring model. P3KMI give the role against FITK IAIN Surakarta’s student to develope the BTA, recitation of Juz Amma and verses option, hadits-hadist option, qoidah ushul fiqih, worship practice, Islamic insight, and create a good personality. While bilingual faculty role to improve the mastery vocabulary of foreign language, writing, talk, and mentally speaking. Keywords: implementation, P3KMI, bilingual, developing, competence
