Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of zakat, Islamic finance and the State Budget (APBN) on poverty alleviation in the State of Indonesia and Malaysia. The method of data collection is done through secondary data from website like: www.kemenkeu.go.id , www.baznas.go.id , www.zakat.com , etc. The data obtained then are analyzed using EVIEWS 9 statistics by estimating all independent variables on the dependent variable and testing the differences between the variables X and Y from the State of Indonesia and Malaysia. The results of this study indicate that the variable zakat has a significant negative effect on poverty reduction in Indonesia and Malaysia. Islamic finance has a non-significant negative effect on poverty alleviation in Indonesia and Malaysia. The State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) has no significant positive effect on poverty alleviation in Indonesia and Malaysia. There is a difference between the level of receipt of zakat funds, Islamic finance and the State Budget of Indonesia and the State of Malaysia. Keywords: Zakat, Sharia Financing, APBN, Poverty
