Abstract

Lufiana, Zunika. 2021, "The Implementation of Kaizala as E-Learning Platform in English Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic at Eleventh Grade Students of SMA 1 Suruh.A Graduating Paper, English Education Department of Teacher Training and Education Faculty at State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Salatiga.Counselor:Faizal Risdiyanto S.S., M.Hum. The study's objectives are to know the Implementation of Kaizala as E-Learning Platform in English Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic at Eleventh Grade Students of SMA 1 Suruh. Does this research generally answer two questions: (1) How is the implementation of Kaizala as an e-learning platform in English learning during the Covid-19 at eleven grade students in SMA 1 Suruh And (2) What are the obstacles faced by the teachers in implementing Kaizala as elearning platform in English learning during the Covid-19 at eleven grade students in SMA 1 Suruh The research method used is qualitative research with qualitative descriptive methods. The data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The study results reveal that: (1) The implementation of the Kaizala application as e-learning platform for learning English during the pandemic is the policy of the school principal. (2) The obstacles experienced by English teachers in implementing Kaizala as an e-learning English learning platform are that not all students have sufficient internet quota to access Kaizala, and the student assistance quota from the government cannot be used to open the Kaizala application.
