Abstract

The purpose of this study was to decide the perceptions of teachers and students as well as the process of learning English using Google Classroom during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The first objective of this study was to determine the teacher's perception of learning English using Google Classroom during the pandemic Covid-19, the second objective was to determine students' perceptions of learning English using Google Classroom during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This type of research is qualitative. The subjects of this study were 5 students and 2 teachers of SMA N 1 Batangan. To obtain data, researchers used interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was delivered through a qualitative procedure. The results of the study show that learning English using Google Classroom is easier to use, learning English is more effective than using other applications, besides that it can improve students' skills in technology. However, there are several things that hinder the learning process, including declining student discipline and obstacles.
