(2021). “AN ANALYSIS OF CODE SWITCHING USED ON THE VOCABULARY TEACHING AND LEARNING AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO VOCABULARY TEST SCORE OF THE BEGINNER LEARNERS AT BEC (BRILLIANT ENGLISH COURSE) RANDUBLATUNG, BLORA. Counselor: Muhamad Hasbi, M.A. The purpose of this study are (a) To know the types of code switching on the vocabulary used in teaching and learning of the beginner learners at BEC (Brilliant English Course) Randublatung. (b) To know the changes of vocabulary test scores of the beginner learners at BEC (Brilliant English Course) Randublatung. This research descriptive quantitative research. The subject of the study is the teacher of basic students of BEC (Brilliant English Course). An observation are used to collect data. The study found three types of code switching used in vocabulary teaching and learning, namely inter sentential code switching (19 utterances), iconic code switching (18 utterances), and establishing continuity switches three (3 utterances) with the exchange of 3 language used namely Indonesian, Javanese, and English. The contribution of code switching to the change in students' vocabulary test performance. This can be seen in three tests given by the teacher, which are detailed below. The student's first vocabulary test yielded an average score of 68.33, followed by 74.04 on the second test and 82.61 on the third.
