It is a kind of classroom action research (CAR). This study is conducted to the eleventh grade students of SMKT AL HUDA Petak Susukan in The Academic Year 2015/2016 by the use of Messages through a Sequence Game to improve students’ listening skill. It is aimed at (1) identifying the improvement of the students listening skill and (2) finding out the result of the use of Messages through a Sequence Game in improving the students’ listening skill. The results show that the use of Messages through a Sequence Game in listening skill for the eleventh grade students of SMKT AL HUDA Petak Susukan in The Academic Year 2015/2016 run well. It is proven by the students’ engagement to the learning technique. The students are active to whisper word by word for their friends based on the teacher instruction. They can tell the words whispered even though in incomplete sequence. The steps of Messages through a Sequence Game in listening skill are conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. The decision to conduct two cycles is based on the students’ result on the post test. The students’ score on post-test II indicates that the technique has certain impact to their listening skill, so it does not need to conduct the next cycle. The students’ improvement can be seen on the mean score of pre-test I and post-test II also the mean score of pre-test and post-test in each cycle. The mean score of pre-test cycle I and pre-test cycle II is 62, 89 and 64, 21 respectively. Whereas, the mean score of post-test cycle I and post-test cycle II is 69, 40 and 75. T-calculation also strengthens the findings. The t-calculation in cycle I is 3, 94, and in cycle II 6, 97. It shows that the improvement of the students’ listening skill is significant after applying Messages through a Sequence Game.
