Abstract

ABSTRACT Annisa, Faizatun. 2021. The Implementation of Home Visit Strategy In English Learning During New Normal Era At SMP N 1 Brigin. A graduating paper, English Education Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, State Institute for Islamic Studies Salatiga. Counselor: Aprilian Ria Adisti, M.Pd. The purpose of this study was to know the implementation of home visit strategy in English learning and to know the inhibiting factors of implementation home visit strategy in English learning during the new normal era. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Bringin located in Gogodalem Village, Bringin District, Semarang Regency and at SMP Negeri 1 Bringin located on Jl. Raya Bringin- Gogodalem km. 04. The subjects of this study were teacher and four students. This research was conducted on September 7-30, 2021. The methodology of this research was qualitative research. The techniques of collecting data were documentation, interview, and observation. The validity of the data is the triangulation. The researcher founds: 1)English learning in SMP N 1 Bringin use Home visit strategy during new normal. It aims to make it easier for teachers to get information about student activities while at home.2) The inhibiting factors of the implementation home visit strategy in English learning during new normal, there are include lack of knowledge and skills, such as : less of vocabularies, difficulties in pronounciation and low in improving their English.
