English Education Department. Teacher Training and Educational Faculty. State Institute for Islamic Studies of Salatiga. Counselor: Dr. Hanung Triyoko, S. S., M. Hum., M. Ed. This research is about language and learning media that focused on Students’ Perceptions in Learning English Through Watching Videos (A Study on Grade XII Senior High School Muhammadiyah (Plus) Salatiga in the Academic year 2021-2022). The subjects were twelfth grade of Senior High School Muhammadiyah (Plus) Salatiga. This study aims to know the students’ perceptions in learning English trough watching videos and to know the advantages and disadvantages learning English through watching videos by using qualitative research. Data collected through questionnaire and interview. This research found that students have a positive perception of the use of the videos for learning English. They stated that videos provide an endless supply of English content which enables them to keep practicing their English skills specifically listening, enhance the reading and grammar skill, enlarges their vocabulary, and increases their pronunciation knowledge. Students also said their challenges, such as internet connection problem and inappropriate content, issue of video related to health, school facilities, and Online learning using video is one-way communication.
