Abstract

Pedagogic competence is the ability of teachers to manage student learning, starting from planning learning, implementing learning, and evaluating learning. Therefore, the researcher conducted a study to analyze the pedagogical competence of English teachers in teaching, the problems that the teachers had found, and the ways to solve them in the MTs Mir'atul Muslimien Ngambakrejo school. the subject of the research is the English teacher at MTs Mir'atul Muslimien Ngambakrejo. This research method uses qualitative research methods, from collecting data, researchers combine several methods, namely interviews and documentation. From the research, the researcher found that the English teacher at MTs Mir'atul Muslimien Ngambakrejo was good. The results showed that (1) the pedagogical competence of teachers presented in the English class of MTs Mir'atul Muslimien was well presented in accordance with the 2013 curriculum so that it could make the learning process run smoothly. (2) The problem faced by teachers in implementing pedagogic competence in glasses is the process of delivering material, from these problems the teacher must know the character of students who have problems with the methods and strategies presented. So, that these problems can be resolved and achieve maximum results in the process of delivering material. Keywords: Pedagogic Competence, Teaching
