Abstract

Keywords: Implementation, e-learning media, English learning teaching, E-LISDA. The aims of this study are to describe the implementation of E-LISDA e-learning media in English language teaching and the teachers’ challenges in using it in English language teaching at SMA Islam Sudirman Ambarawa. Two English teachers from SMA Islam Sudirman Ambarawa's 10th grade served as the study's subjects. This study used descriptive qualitative approach. Researcher used a qualitative approach to gather data for this study, which were done through observation, documentation, and interviews that took the form of pictures and observation checklist. The results showed that teachers used E-LISDA to share materials in learning English for 10th grade students of SMA Islam Sudirman Ambarawa to manage online learning, such as giving access and motivation, information exchange, knowledge construction and doing activities for the development of student knowledge. In using E-LISDA media, teachers face several challenges, one of which is a technical problem in the form of an internet network. Second, most students feel that they lack an internet quota. And third, not all learning materials can be delivered properly through e-learning. These factors affect the way E-LISDA was used by both teachers and students in English classes.
