Counselor: Noor Malihah., M.Hum., Ph.D. This research investigates the implementation of the Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) to enrich vocabulary and its role. The data were collected through the observation, documentation and interview administered to 7 selected experienced players of MMORPG in global server whose meet the criteria. Results showed that implementation of MMORPG can help the EFL learner gain new vocabulary from the aspect of the game such as Socializing, quest, storyline, trading market, guild, and items description. Then the role of MMORPG that support language practice and vocabulary acquisition environment. The benefit of this research shows that online game can be a media to learning foreign language especially vocabulary acquisition. Keywords: Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, Vocabulary.
