Pd.I., M.A. The purpose of this research are 1) To describe english teacher technique used in teaching vocabulary during in COVID-19 distance learning at Ar-Rahmah Suruh Kindergarten. 2) To explain how is the applicate of the techniques in teaching vocabulary during distance learning in COVID-19 pandemic era at Ar-Rahmah Suruh Kindergarten. 3) To investigate the students response in teaching vocabulary during distance learning in COVID-19 pandemic era at Ar Rahmah Suruh kindergarten. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Research data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research results show that first, the teaching techniques during distance learning in COVID-19 pandemic at Ar Rahmah Kindergarten Suruh is using lecturing technique. Second the application used in learning is WhatsApp. Third the teacher response to distance learning stated that the teacher was not familiar with distance learning. Students response to distance learning stated that students had difficulty understanding the material taught by the teacher.
