Abstract
This study scrutinizes the moral values in Sanjay LeelaBhansali’s movie entitled Black. It is tell us that life is a struggle. The objectives of the study are to find out the moral values in the movie and to find out the style of moral values presented by the director in the movie.The method that is used in this study is descriptive qualitative method, which focused on the textual data analysis. The writer watched the movie and read the script to collect the data and then analyze the data. The result is finding the moral values in the movie likebelieve in God, hard work, respect to each other, love and affection, never give up, optimism, perseverance, and responsibility. In presenting the moral values the director uses explicit and implicit meaning.
