Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF ABDULLAH SAID'S CONCEPT OF INTEGRAL EDUCATION (1945-1998) AT SD INTEGRAL HIDAYATULLAH SALATIGA MOHAMAD ALI SHODIKIN. 2022. Implementation of Abdullah Said's Concept of Integral Education (1945-1998) at SD Integral Hidayatullah Salatiga Thesis, Master of Islamic Education Study Program Postgraduate of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Salatiga. Supervisor: (I) Dr. Rahmat Hariyadi, M.Pd. Keywords: Implementation, Abdullah Said, Integral Education. This study aims to reveal the application of Abdullah Said's concept of Integral Education at SD Integral Hidayatullah Salatiga, with the focus of the research covering the following 1) Presentation of Abdullah Said's concept of integral education; 2) Education Implementation at SD Integral Hidayatullah Salatiga; 3) How far is the implementation of the concept of integral education at SD Integral Hidayatullah Salatiga? This study uses a qualitative approach and analytical descriptive method. Data was collected using in-depth interviews, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that 1) Integral Education is education based on faith that comes from the Qur'anul Karim in which the values of the Qur'an are internalized into the souls of students. 2) Education at SD Integral Hidayatullah Salatiga is held on a monotheistic basis. The characters of students are formed through the integration of the values of monotheism which are always embedded in each lesson, both inside and outside the classroom. 3) Abdullah Said's education concept has been implemented at SD Integral Hidayatullah salatiga. One of the characteristics is: - The realization of an educational model that makes the values of monotheism as the basis, - The learning process balances intellectual and spiritual aspects, - Habituation of positive things to make mental and emotional better.
