Abstract

Prasetya, Ismail Agung. An Analysis Of Teacher’s Strategy In Enhancing Speaking Skills In The English Club Of Non-Formal Education Program Of Qaryah Thayyibah Salatiga. A Graduating Paper. English Education department Teacher Training and Education Faculty. State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Salatiga. Counsellor: Nur Muthmainnah, M.Pd The purposes of the study was to know what and how the strategies used by teacher in enhancing speaking skills in non-formal education program Qaryah Thayyibah Salatiga. The research used qualitative research method. The respondent of this research was one of the English teacher at Qaryah Thayyibah Salatiga. Interview was conducted in order to collect all the data. The data was analysed and interpreted through qualitative procedure. The finding showed that teacher have various strategies to enhance students English skill. The teacher often uses independent study to help students reach their aim and the methods used are similar to the curriculum implemented there. The findings showed that students are easily to understand the material by using the method and other method assist the students reaching what they want to learn. As an English teacher, they must be able to direct them also manage the class in a good environment. Keywords: Non-formal education, EFL Strategies, EFL Method
