Abstract

This research is aimed to describe the implementation of E-learning Madrasah to English learning, to find out the difficulties faced by students in English learning using E-learning Madrasah and to find out the student's experiences in English learning using E-learning Madrasah. This study applies data analysis using qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used by researcher are by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The subject of this research are two English teachers and five students involved in research on the implementation of E-learning Madrasah in the learning process during distance English learning at MAN 1 Sragen. The results of the research that have been carried out show that: 1) the implementation of E-learning Madrasah in learning English during the Covid-19 pandemic was reviewed in terms of planning which included teachers making online classes, providing teaching materials and making learning tools in Elearning madrasah. Second, in terms of implementation, it includes teachers and students carrying out learning from the introduction, core activities, to closing. Third, in terms of evaluation, which includes teachers can give assignments through E-Learning Madrasah. 2) The several obstacles that often occur in the application of E-learning Madrasah in learning English is the network connection, then the error problem in E-learning Madrasah, and full cellphones or quota problems is often experienced by students. 3) According to students, English learning method using E-learning Madrasah is less attractive so students tend to be bored and do not understand the material in learning. Meanwhile, some students feel happy and helped by E-learning Madrasah because they can learn English during the Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: Implementation, E-learning Madrasah, Students Experience
