Abstract

The science integration model is carried out with different approaches. One model of integration of Islamic economics is taken through the Islamization approach. This study aims to explain the position of Islamic economics as part of the Islamic religious doctrine and science and reveal how Islamization is an integrated scientific approach. This study is a literature review supported by data and analysis with sources in the form of books, articles and websites. This study resulted in several findings, including that the position of Islamic economics, Islamization activists must continue to strive to develop theories and develop methodologies of Islamic economics with an integrative paradigm. The Islamization of knowledge has an impact and influence on the development of scientific disciplines. In the midst of the strong current offering of various integration paradigms, the Islamization of science includes the mainstraim approach and is still considered relevant for compiling and developing Islamic scientific integration. The implication of this study is that efforts are still needed so that Islam is not only a tool of justification for economic theory in the process of the Islamization movement of science.
