Abstract

A simple guide to academic writing is a writing textbook in academic settings dedicated to beginners. It teaches the rhetoric and sentence structure in a straightforward manner, using a step-by-step approach, and high-interest models. Students are guided through the writing process to produce well-organized, adequately developed paragraphs and essays. Explanations are simple to help students assimilate each skill. The book contains 6 chapters: Chapters 1-4 teach the structures and process of writing, chapter 5 mentions the skills needed by writers, and chapter 6 focuses on citing.
