Abstract

Muna, Sani, Laili. 2023. The Use of LyricsTraining.com To Improve Sudents’ Listening Comprehension (A classroom Action Research for the Tenth Grade of MA Darul Falah in the Academic year of 2023/2024). A graduating paper, English Education Department, Teacher and Education Faculty, State Islamic University Salatiga. Concelor: Faizal Risdianto, S.S. S.Hum. This study aims to determine the results of learning listening used LyricsTraining.com to know how the use of LyricsTraining. com and to know the implementation of LyricsTraining.com. The research methodology were carried out quantitative that used classroom action research. Which is divided into 2 cycle there was planning, acting, observing and, reflecting. Data analysis techniques of student learning outcomes using t-test statistical analysis. Meanwhile, responses use analysed using percentage. The results of this study indicate that the T-test of the cycle I was 11,794 and cycle II was 16,348 was higher than T-table / T-Test ˃ T-table. Based on these results it can be concluded that there is a significant improvement used LyricsTraining.com on students' listening in English lessons in tenth grade of MA DARUL FALAH Pringsurat and gave a positive response. This website uses music video as a more interesting learning tool to practice English language skills, especially Listening. LyricsTraining provides authentic, complete, new and interesting listening learning materials from various types of music videos on YouTube. In addition to students, the teacher can also make his own material by creating an account on the Lyricstraining.com site. Through writing this paper the authors hope to introduce listening learning media that can motivate students and apply English in their daily lives.
