Abstract

The digital literacy test assesses research subjects' digital literacy skills, including using digital media, understanding social applications, and responding to digital literacy-related questions. The test involves filling in personal data and answering 10 multiple-choice questions. The research was based on Paul's 2023 Accellier education ability test and developed questions related to digital literacy. The critical thinking on reading mastery test assesses research subjects' ability and mastery in critical thinking reading skills. The test includes personal data and 10 multiple choice questions related to understanding critical thinking and problem analysis. Referenced from Faz Fazita (2018), it provides an understanding test and research questions. The findings of the research show that there is very strong positive correlation between digital literacy and students' critical reading mastery. The research found significant correlation between digital literacy skills and critical thinking on reading mastery among sixth-semester English Education Department students at UIN Salatiga for the 2022/2023 academic year. The researcher explained conclusions about the correlation between digital literacy skills and Students' critical thinking on reading mastery of sixth Semester English Education Department Students at UIN Salatiga for the 2022/2023 academic year is very strong positive correlation coefficient (.993). Digital literacy skill it can be calculated that 93% of students have scores above the average and 7% of students have scores below the average. In critical thinking reading skills, 46% of students have above average scores and 64% of students have below average scores. Ha was accepted. This means that there is significant correlation between students' digital literacy abilities and the critical thinking on reading mastery possessed by sixth semester English Education Department students at UIN Salatiga.
