This research focuses on the cultural barrier faced by EFL students of eleventh grade students of MAN Salatiga in the academic year of 2017/2018 especially in grammatical structure, vocabulary, and pronunciation aspects. The research questions were formulated as follow: do grammatical structure, vocabulary, and pronunciation become the cultural barrier for the EFL learners in MAN Salatiga?; which aspects (grammatical structure, vocabulary, and pronunciation) become the cultural barriers for the EFL learners in MAN Salatiga?; and what are the students’ tendencies in cultural barriers dealing with the grammatical structure, vocabulary, and pronunciation while learning English?. Type of the research in this research is quantitative where the researcher distributed the questionnaire dealing with grammatical structure, vocabulary, and vocabulary as cultural barriers to 106 students of the eleventh grade. The questionnaire that was used is from Nawas et al. (2015:4) which has been modified as needed. The questionnaire consists of 15 questions dealing with grammatical structure, vocabulary, and vocabulary that become difficulties for students in learning English. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS 16 in order to find out the mean value of each question. The results of the research showed that grammatical structure, vocabulary, and pronunciation became the cultural barrier for EFL students of the eleventh grade students of MAN Salatiga. Also, from the mean value it can be seen that those three aspects (pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammatical structure) made the students difficult in learning English. From those three aspects, the frequent aspect of cultural barriers that make the students feel difficult in learning English is grammatical structure (3.672), the second aspect is vocabulary (3.529), and the last aspect is pronunciation (3.511)
