Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi data supervisi kelompok, komunikasi interpersonal pengawas, motivasi kerja guru dan kinerja guru PAI di Kota Salatiga tahun 2017 dan pengaruh secara parsial variabel supervisi kelompok, komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kinerja guru PAI dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening. Jenis penelitian ini adalah field research dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan termasuk penelitian ekspalanatif, dimana menjelaskan hubungan dan pengaruh melalui pengujian hipotesis. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru PAI se-Kota Salatiga dengan jumlah sampel penelitian 80 orang guru PAI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru PAI (2) supervisi kelompok pengawas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja guru PAI (3) komunikasi interpersonal pengawas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja guru PAI (4) supervisi kelompok pengawas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara tidak langsung melalui variabel motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru PAI dan (5) komunikasi interpersonal pengawas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara tidak langsung melalui variabel motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru PAI. Hasil penelitian ini juga menjawab research gap kinerja guru dan menyimpulkan bahwa supervisi pengawas berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Kata kunci : Supervisi kelompok, komunikasi interpersonal pengawas, motivasi kerja guru, kinerja guru PAI THE EFFECT OF SUPERVISION GROUP AND SUPERVISOR INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION ON PERFORMANCE PAI’S TEACHER USING MOTIVATION TO WORK AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE (STUDIES IN SALATIGA CITY 2017) ABSTRACT This study aims to determine variation in the data supervision group, interpersonal communication supervisor, work motivation of teacher and teacher performance PAI in Salatiga 2017 and influence in partial supervision of the group, interpersonal communication on performance PAI’s teacher with motivation to work as an intervening variable. The research is a field research using quantitative approach and included as explanatory research, which describes the relationship and influence through hypothesis testing. The study population was a teacher PAI as the city of Salatiga with a sample of 80 PAI teachers. The results showed that (1) the work motivation influence positively and significantly to the performance of PAI’s teachers (2) supervision group had a positive and significant effect on work motivation of PAI’s teachers (3) interpersonal communication supervision positive and significant effect on work motivation of PAI’s teachers (4 ) supervision watchdog group positive and significant impact indirectly through work motivation on performance PAI’s teacher and (5) interpersonal communication watchdog positive and significant impact indirectly through work motivation on performance PAI’s teacher. The results also answer the research gap teacher performance and concluded that the regulatory supervision had a significant impact through performance of teachers.
