Conselour: Norwanto, S.Pd., M.Hum., Ph.D. This graduating paper has a purpose to analyse the function, the benefits, and the types of code mixing that used in Students’ Whatsapp Group at The Eleventh Grade Of Autotronics Program Of SMK N 3 Salatiga. This research conducted in May 25th 2023. This is a descriptive qualitative research. This graduating paper uses the students of the Eleventh Grade of Autotronics Program of SMK N 3 Salatiga as the subject. In collecting the data, this research conducted interview to the students directly and observation which is collected from the WhatsApp group chat screenshot. In order to validate the data, this research uses source triangulation from the documentation of WhatsApp group chat and respondents interview. Method triangulation also implemented from the documentation which is collected from the WhatsApp group chat screenshot and having an interview with the students talking about code mixing in their point of view. The result of this research found out that mostly code mixing has used as a message qualification to clarify to deliver a respond from the previous expression. There are 2 more functions that can be categorized and those are expressive and gaining attention. The benefit of using code mixing can be in the form of increasing English vocabulary and extra English learning time. The most used code mixing type is insertion and the second most used type is alternation.
