Abstract

The purpose of this study are : (1) to know the difference between students’ vocabulary mastery before and after using Educandy application, (2) To know whether Educandy application is effective in teaching vocabulary or not. This research used pre-experimental research. The technique of collecting data used tests in the form of multiple choice. There were two tests used in the research, there are pre-test and post-test. The pre-test was tested before using Educandy application and the post-test was tested after using Educandy application. Multiple choice is the form of the test which contains 20 questions. The subject of this research the eleventh grade of Tata Busana 3 SMK N 1 Tengaran with 33 students. T-test is the formula to be analyzed by comparing the sig2-tailed of the pre-test and post-test used SPSS 25 version. The result of this research showed that there was a significant difference between the mean score of the pre-test and the post-test. The mean score of the pre-test before treatment was 64 and the mean score of the post-test was 79 . The result of T-test at significant level of 0.05 showed that the significant values (sig- 2 tailed) was 0.00 lower than 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05). It can be concluded Educandy application is effective to teach vocabulary mastery in eleventh-grade tata busana 3 of SMK N 1 Tengaran.
