Choerun Nisa, Ulfah.2023. An Analysis of Student’s Perception in Learning English Through Whatsapp in Eleventh Grade at MA Albidayah Candi in the Academic Year 2020/2021. Graduating Paper. English Education Department. Teacher Training and Education Faculty. Salatiga State Islamic University. Supervisor: Dr. Hanung Triyoko, S.S.,M.Hum.,M.Ed. The purpose of this study was to determine students' perception on learning English through Whatsapp. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this research were 5 active students at MA Albidayah Candi. Interviews were used to collect data, then analyzed and interpreted through qualitative procedures. The findings show that students have the perceptions to increase their interest in learning English. Based on the results of the interviews, it can be concluded that students face various kinds of difficulties and challenges when learning English through Whatsapp but also have active efforts to overcome these challenges. As a result, students get vocabulary expansion, increased skills, self-confidence, and increased motivation to learn English. Keywords: Perception, Whatsapp, English Learning Process
