Abstract

ABSTRAK Prayogo, Heri. 2023. Efektivitas Model Pjbl Etno-STEM Topik Tekanan Zat Ditinjau Dari Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Kepil Kabupaten Wonosobo. Skripsi, Salatiga: Program Studi Tadris IPA Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan Universitas Negeri Salatiga. Pembimbing: Dr. Khusna Widyahrini, M.Si. Kata Kunci: PjBL Etno-STEM, Hasil Belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model PjBL Etno-STEM tentang tekanan zat dan respon model PjBL Etno-STEM pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Kepil, Kabupaten Wonosobo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain true experiment posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII dan sampel diambil secara cluster random sampling. Sampel diperoleh yakni kelas VIII A berjumlah 22 orang dan VIII B berjumlah 22 orang. Kelas VIII A sebagai kelompok eksperimen diberikan pembelajaran PjBL Etno-STEM dengan memanfaatkan Etno (“Pletokan”) sebagai media, STEM (sains (konsep tekanan)), teknik (alat), enjiniring (cara kerja), matematika (perhitungan nilai tekanan), sedangkan kelas VIII B diberikan pembelajaran konvensional sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dan kuesioner respon peserta didik. Hipotesis diuji menggunakan uji-t (independent sample t-test). Capaian penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL Etno-STEM tentang tekanan zat efektif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik, dengan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan model PjBL Etno-STEM sebesar 85,23, sedangkan peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional memiliki rata- rata hasil belajar sebesar 78,59. Persentase 84% peserta didik memberikan respon yang sangat baik terhadap model PjBL Etno-STEM. Kesimpulan model project- based learning Etno-STEM efektif terhadap hasil belajar pembelajaran IPA topik tekanan zat.
