Abstract

ABSTRACT Fitriana, Mayetia Wulan. 2023. The Analysis of Students’ Errors on Language Feature in Writing Procedure Text of 11th Grade Language Major Students in MAN 2 Lamongan Academic year 2020-2021. A graduating paper. Teacher Training Education Faculty. English Education department. State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga. Counselor Noor Malihah, S.Pd., M. Hum., Ph. D The Objective of this Research is to find out kind of errors in writing procedure text especially in language feature made by students and caused of errors faced.This research was Qualitative Descriptive Research. The data collected from the students’ worksheet in writing procedure text. The participant is students in Eleventh11th grade of language major of MAN 2 Lamongan academic year 2020 - 2021. The finding stated that students had any kinds of error in writing procedure text. There are four kind of errors found in this research. There are, Omission, Additional, miss-ordering, miss-formation. From those kinds of errors, students mostly made miss-formation errors, there are 21 errors made by students. This research also find caused of errors, there are inter-lingual and intra-lingual. From this finding, errors mostly caused of intra-lingual.
