The Effectiveness of Interactive Videos to Listening Mastery (An Experimental Research of The Eight Grade Students of Junior High School Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga in The Academic Year 2021/2022). A graduating paper. English Education Department. Teacher Training and Education Faculty. State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Salatiga. Conselor: Dr. Ruwandi, M.A The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a significant change between students who used video interactive media and those who only used conventional media (audio only) on the mastery of listening skills in eighth grade SMP Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga in the 2021–2022 academic year. The method used in this research is experimental. The data was collected using pretest-posttest in the form of multiple-choice questions with a non-equivalent control group design. While the data were taken from two different classes without being randomized, with a total of 32 respondents with 16 students each. Based on the research results, it can be said that: First, there is no significant effect between the learning outcomes of male and female students in both classes, where the total average value is 255.83 and 229.33, respectively. Second, there is a significant change between the experimental class and the comparison class, where the average value for the experimental class is 77.19 and for the comparison class 67.19. Then, based on post-test data analysis, where t-count = 3.021 > t-table = 2.042, then consulted with testing criteria with = 5%, so that the calculated value table value (the hypothesis is accepted).
