Abstract

Dosen Pembimbing : Dr. Edi Cahyono, M.M This research aims to determine the effect of productive zakat on the welfare of mustahik with the performance of amil as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach by conducting a survey through questionnaires given to 158 mustahik of BAZNAS in Demak Regency. The sampling technique used is saturation sampling. Data analysis is performed using the SPSS software. The results of the study show that productive zakat and amil performance have a positive and significant effect on the welfare of mustahik. However, amil performance is unable to moderate the effect of productive zakat on the welfare of mustahik. Nevertheless, additional analysis by splitting the sample found different results, namely that amil performance can strengthen the effect of productive zakat on the welfare of mustahik when applied to married mustahik.
