Abstract

This study aims to investigate if the students can improve their reading comprehension ability by playing a game, to do so, the document analysis was used to analyze the improvement of the students. The objective of the study is to understand students' impression of the learning process by using video games, particularly Harvest Moon, to teach English reading skills. The purpose of the observation was to learn how the students perceive when using a video game to help them to improve their reading comprehension. In other words, the object research is a study of how student perceive when utilizing video games as media to read.
