Abstract
: Keywords: Question, Classroom Talk, Sructure of Questions, Classroom Learning Strategies. This is a descriptive qualitative research. This research attempts to answer the problems of the research regarding the type of questions produced by the eleventh grade of SMAN 1 Bringin. They are (1) What types of question produced by the eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Bringin? and (2) What is the most frequent question produced by the eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Bringin?. The setting of this research is in SMAN 1 Bringin and the respondents of this research are the eleventh grade students. The writer usesthe video recording in the real English classroom learning situation to get the data. From the observation, the writer gets the result of the problems of the research. Firts, the types of question produced by the eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Bringin are Yes-No Question and W-H Question. Second, the most frequent question produced by the eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Bringin is W-H Question that gained 94% while the Yes-No Question gained 6% only. It is because most of the students ask about the the meaning of word or the purpose of the material that they did not now before. In this research, found five distributions of those types of asking question and they are described in a brief as follows: (a) yes-no question with auxiliary verb (3.6%), (b) yes-no question with auxiliary be (2.4%), (c) w-h question with auxiliary verb (18.1%), (d) w-h question with auxiliary be (73.1), and the last is w-h question with modal auxiliary (2.4%).
