Abstract

As above n Analysis of Sixth Semester Students’ Perception of using Instagram in Learning English Vocabulary of English Education Department of UIN Salatiga in the Academic 2022/2023. A Graduating Paper. English Education Department. Teacher Training and Education Faculty. University for Islamic Studies Salatiga. Counselor: Dr. Setia Rini, M.Pd . The aims of the research were (1) to investigate students’ perception of Instagram for learning (2) to describe the advantages in using Instagram for learning english vocabulary (3) to determine students perception impact of Instagram in English Learning. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive research. The techniques collecting data was interview and observation. The research subject were sixth semester students of UIN Salatiga. The authors find a positive perception here where respondents say that using Instagram accounts is effective and enjoy in learning of vocabulary memory. Howhever, there is a small negative perception that use of Instagram accounts is less effective because it has many meanings. Keywords: Perception, Instagram, Vocabulary
