Abstract

SMK Saraswati Salatiga is one of the schools that uses Computer-Based Tests in summative test assessments. Students' perceptions of the use of Computer-Based Tests have not been established and only most studies have focused more on teachers' perceptions of Computer-Based Tests. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on Computer-Based Tests from the perspective of students' perceptions. The objective of this study was to investigate students' perceptions of the usefulness; ease of use and accessibility of CBT in SMK Saraswati Salatiga. This study is quantitative. The study adopted the survey method of descriptive research. A total of 226 students represent the sample for the study. The data was analyzed using percentages and mean to answer the research questions. The study revealed that students also had positive ratings on perceived usefulness (74%), ease of use (75,4%), and accessibility (80.31%) of CBT. The study concluded that students perceived CBT as useful, easy to use, and credible. The implication is that perceptions of usefulness, ease of use, and accessibility of CBT will lead to increased use of CBT at SMK Saraswati Salatiga. It is recommended, among others, that SMK Saraswati Salatiga should improve the efficiency of Computer-Based Tests to enhance their accessibility.
