Abstract
Maharani, Dyah Ayu. 2024. TPR Method to Teach English at Ar-Rahmah Kindergarten School; Opportunities and Challenges. A Graduating Paper. English Education Departement. State Islamic University of Salatiga. Counselor : Dr. Hanung Triyoko, S.S., M.Hum., M.Ed.. This study aims to answer the following research questions: 1) How can TPR be implemented to teach English at Ar-Rahmah Kindergarten? 2) What are the Opportunities and Challenges do the school have in implementing TPR method? . This research used a quantitative approach, then the data collection techniques using classroom observation . Based on the observation, the researcher found that the teaching-learning processes in the classroom by giving pretest and post-test for the students to observe whether the implementation of TPR methods according to Kothari (2004) says quantitative research is based on the measurement of quantity or amount. The findings also showed that the usage of Total Physical Response are effective, opportunities and challenges. Keywords: TPR Method, Opportunities, Challenges
