Abstract
This study aims to prove the role of good corporate governance as a moderating variable in the influence of bank health level on financial performance. The type of research used in this study is quantitative. The population in this study is Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia for the period 2019-2023. The sample in this study amounted to 10 banks with a total of 50 observational data. The statistical analysis method used to prove the research hypothesis is multiple linear regression and Moderate Regression Analysis. The test results in this study concluded that partially non-performing finance, financing to deposit ratio, and capital adequacy ratio have a negative effect on financial performance, while Net Operating Margin has a positive effect on financial performance. In the Moderate Regression Analysis test, it was found that good corporate governance was not able to moderate the effect of bank health level on financial performance.
