Faizah, Ruruh Anis, 2024. “The Impact of Using English Podcasts to Improve Listening Comprehension on English Learners at eleventh-grade students of MAN 1 Salatiga” A Graduating Paper. English Education Departement. Teacher Training and Education Faculty. State Islamic University of Salatiga. Counselor: Marisa Fran Lina, M.Pd. The purpose of the study are: (1) to know the listening comprehension ability before using English Podcasts, (2) to know the listening comprehension ability after using English Podcasts, (3) to know the impact of English Podcasts to improve listening comprehension. This research use an experimental research. The technique of collecting data use test in the form of essay. There were two test use in the research, there are pre-test and post-test. The pre-test is tested before using English Podcasts and the post-test is tested after using English Podcasts. Essay is the form of test which contain 10 questions. The subject of this research the eleventh grade of F2 MAN 1 Salatiga with 35 students. T-test is the formula to be analyzed by comparing the sig 2-tailed of the pre-test and post-test use IBM SPSS 25 Version. The result of this research show that there is a significant difference between the mean score of the pre-test and the post-test. The mean score of the pre-test before treatment is 73 and the mean score after post-test is 81. The results of T-test at significant level of 0.05 show that the significant values (sig-2 tailed) was 0.00 lower than 0.05 (0.00<0.05). It can be concluded that there is an impact of using English Podcasts to improve listening comprehension in eleventh-grade of F2 of MAN 1 Salatiga. Keywords: Listening Comprehension, Podcasts
