Abstract

Sabila, Luqsi. 2025. Student’s Perceptions of Oral Presentation by Using Canva Media. Teacher Training and Education Faculty. English Education Department. State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga.: Counselor: Dr. Sari Famullarsih, S.Pd., M.A. This qualitative study examines the student’s perceptions of oral presentation by using Canva media for the tenth-grade students at SMAN 3 Salatiga in the academic year 2024/2025. It identifies students' perceptions of oral presentation by using Canva media, the obstacles students face, and the implementation of oral presentation. This research reveals that in the current era of technological development, learning media can assist students in preparing presentations that are easier and more interesting, thus making an impact on students' oral presentation ability and confidence as well as communication skills. The students have used Canva as a learning medium in oral presentations. This research observed how effective the use of Canva as a learning medium is in oral presentations. However, this study also shows students’ barriers in using Canva as a learning medium in oral presentations in the learning process. This research finds that the positive impact that students using Canva media had on helping students in the learning process in oral presentations was that students agreed that this application can be used as learning media because the use of Canva media in oral presentations in learning activities allowed students to present clearly and smoothly the material presented so that the audience pays attention and understands the material carefully. However, the research also found that students argued that after using Canva media, there were some obstacles. Keywords: Student’s Perception, Oral Presentation, Canva
