Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the implementation of students' religious habituation activities at MTs SA Al Idrus and MTs Darussalam (2) analyze the inhibiting and supporting factors faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in students' religious habituation activities at MTs SA Al Idrus and MTs Darussalam (3) analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in students' religious habituation at MTs SA Al Idrus and MTs Darussalam. A qualitative approach was used in this study, involving the Principal, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Student Affairs, and Islamic Religious Education teachers at MTs SA Al Idrus and MTs Darussalam as informants. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study showed that (1) The implementation of student worship habituation activities at MTs SA Al Idrus and MTs Darussalam went well with the types of activities of congregational dhuha prayer, reading al-asma' al-husna, tahfidz, reading Juz 'Amma, reading prayers before and after lessons, congregational dzuhur prayer (2) Supporting factors for student worship habituation activities at madrasahs include the availability of facilities that support activities, a conducive and religious environment, and the policy of the Head of Madrasah. However, there are several obstacles that occur such as lack of awareness and motivation and lack of religious knowledge of students (3) The role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in student worship habituation at madrasahs includes Islamic Religious Education teachers as educators, companions, guides, role models or examples, motivators, and teachers as evaluators.
