Abstract
Al Ghozali, Rian, Ahmad. 2025. Deaf Students' Perceptions of Lliveworksheets as a Medium For English Vocabulary Building 11th Grade Students at a Special High School Academic Year 2024/2025. A graduating paper. Teacher Training and Education Faculty, English Education Department, State Islamic University of Salatiga. Counselor: Dr. Setia Rini, M.Pd. This study investigates the perceptions of deaf students regarding the use of Liveworksheets as a medium for English vocabulary building. Conducted with seven 11th-grade deaf students at Salatiga State Special School, this qualitative descriptive research focuses on cognitive, affective, and conative aspects of learning. It examines how Liveworksheets enhances vocabulary retention, engagement, and application in the classroom. Data were collected through structured interviews and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that students perceive Liveworksheets as effective and enjoyable due to its interactive features, visual aids, and immediate feedback. Students adopted strategies such as repetition, visual association, and self-paced learning to optimize their use. However, challenges like internet dependency and limited comprehension of English-only instructions were also identified. The study concluded that Liveworksheets effectively supports English vocabulary building for deaf students by leveraging their visual learning strengths. Among the seven students, significant improvements were observed in vocabulary retention and application. This study recommends integrating digital tools like Liveworksheets into special education programs to foster inclusive and accessible learning environments tailored to the unique needs of students with hearing impairments. Keywords: english vocabulary building, visual learning, deaf students, perceptions, liveworksheets
