Abstract

Speaking of morals in Higher Education seems to have often been done by most academic community. As a social life, moral is the main supporter of social values based on one's religiousity. The strengthening of the religious morale of the counselor must be an attractive offer in the context of one's self-development in both the private, the social, the learning and the career. The moral principle at the beginning of the prophethood of Prophet Muhammad SAW is a behavior that is always described for the surrounding community, they are his friends who always make him as uswah or exemplary of all the behavior that will be done. The importance of religious morality in a person, including a counselor in Higher Education is an impossibility that is impossible to reject, religious moral conscience to the individual is absolute to make each person aware of his existence as khalifah of Allah swt. The demands of each individual behave and behave by relying on religious morals in order to make themselves each capable of achieving the perfection of human kamil in his life. The counselor in this case is a person capable of carrying out the mandate to call others to the goodness and stability of life in the frame of religion that finally he is able to embody Islam as a religion rahmatan lil 'alamin (grace for the universe).
