Abstract

The focus of this thesis research is about the quality of Islamic religious education. In Improving the Quality of Islamic Education, educational staff is one of the important factors. The quality of education is not determined by educational institutions, but the quality of education is the specification desired and in according to the expectation of the community, by optimizing the support of education quality, they are input and process, so that is will produce high quality education output. The research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach used observation, interview and documentation techniques. To get the results of research, researchers used five methods, they are continuous improvement, determining quality standards, changing cultures, changing organizations, and maintaining relationships with customers. On the other hand, the government also have a role in improving quality, so that there is no gap in every school in a region, especially facilities and infrastructure The results of the research is the quality of elementary school education SD N Suruh 01 has been going well because of the professionalism of educators, support from the Principal, the creation of good cooperation, adequate facilities and infrastructure, good relations with student guardians, and additional activities outside the hours learning that supports Islamic religious education. Whereas in SD N Kedungringin 03, it is necessary to improve the professionalism of teachers, improve facilities and infrastructure, and build good relations with the community so that the quality of Islamic education becomes better.
