Abstract

Early Childhood has a diverse penchant, one of which is a favorite to watch television animated cartoon. At an early age, the child has a strong tendency to mimic every thing he sees. This is important because there are so many animated cartoons that are aired and often seen by children that certainly affect the character and personality of the child. This study aims to determine the values of character education for early childhood in which is contained in the animated film Adit & Sopo Jarwo. In conducting this study using a qualitative descriptive approach by analyzing the contents of four randomly selected episodes. The results of this study found that the values of character education for early childhood contained in four episodes of animated films Adit & Sopo Jarwo are very diverse, among the values of characters contained such as religious, hard work, independent, friendly and communicative, honest , Social, creative, disciplined, respectful of achievement, and responsibility.
