Abstract

This study will analyze the collected data from 30 students of the secondsemester English Department students of STAIN Salatiga in the academic year of2007. The data gained from the questionnaires of reading frequency and fromReading II test scores.From the data analysis, the writer conclude that there is a correlation betweenreading frequency in the library and Reading II achievement of the 2nd semesterEnglish Department students of STAIN Salatiga, because, rs is higher than r.: It alsoshows that there is a close correlation between two variables namely: independentvariable (X) and dependent variable (Y), r; is 0,857 and r, is 0,366, so r0 > r..
