Abstract
The population of this research are the students of the sixth class ofSemowo 02 elementary school kec. Pabelan kab. Semarang. The researcher usesthe method of research: population, sample, variable and methods of datacollection. This finding indicates that there is no significant correlation betweenpronunciation toward listening ability.This research is proposed to answer that there is no a significant influenceof students of pronunciation toward listening ability. The results are: the majorityof the students pronunciation is excellent that falls on the 92-100, the majority ofthe students listening ability is good that falls on the scores of 80-91, there is nopositive influence of pronunciation toward listening ability. This result isobtained from computation of correlation between the students pronunciation andthe students listening ability sample is 0.169. The critical value of the person r the5% level is 0.497. It means that the result obtained from the computation issmaller than its critical value. Therefore, it concludes that the correlation of thetwo variables above is not significant.
