Abstract

The research was done in the third year students of MAI Assoorkaty Salatiga.The researcher carried out an experimental research which took 22 samples of thethird year students. For getting the data the writer used test and questionnaire asprime techniques. The results are generalized and represent the population of all thestudents of the third year students of MAI Assoorkaty Salatiga.After collecting data and analyzing the using product moment formula, itreveals that there is correlation between listening habits of native English speechestoward mastery of listening comprehension and proved by the result of productmoment 0,9854 consulting the r-table with 5% significance show 0,423 so the productmoment is much greater than r-table, Therefore, it can be concluded that thecorrelation of the two variables above is positively significant.
