Abstract

conventional and internet media to reading mastery and to find out anysignificant difference of conventional and internet media to reading masteryof the second year students of SL TP Alternatif Qaryah Thayyibah KalibeningSalatiga in the Academic Year of 200812009.To find out the differences of conventional and internet mediato reading mastery, the writer compares two methods between conventionaland internet. The writer also gives the students pre-test before treatment andpost-test after the treatment.Based on the findings of the research, calculation of mean 37,4before the students using internet. It means that there is no difference. Andafter the students use internet, the calculation of mean is 39,6. it means there isdifference. The significant difference is shown by the calculation oft-test ofpre-test - 0.039089589 which is lower than calculation of post-test0.039089589.
