Abstract

This research is aimed to study three aspects: the importance of daily routinesspeech to enhance children's speech development, the differences of children'sspeech development between children who live in intensive daily routines speechenvironment and un-intensive daily routines speech environment, and thedescription of the differences of the children's speech development between thetwo environments. This study used descriptive qualitative approach which usedinterview, observation, and documentation methods to collect data. The data wasanalyzed in three steps, namely identification, classifying, and 'analyzing steps.The study shows that daily routines speechesencourage children's utterances. Themore children hear daily routines speech, the more vocabularies are mastered bythem. It also shows that children who live in intensive daily routines speechenvironment will-master the vocabularies better. They will sooner utter word andhave clearer pronunciations. It is clearly showed by Nabih, Dzirwa, Fayaz,Annida and Nana. They have mastered more than 30 words. Even Nabih andAnnida have mastered more than 50 words. It is different with Fakhri, Ayyas,Ulfa and Ulfi who mastered less than 20 words. Fakhri 10 words, Ayyas 5 words,Ulfa 3 words, and Ulfi 6 words.
