Abstract
The field of this graduating paper at describing how the work ethos of Englishdepartment alumnus in STAIN Salatiga in academic year 200712008. The researchproblems of the study are the work ethos of English department alumnus, the indicationthat influence and the dominant indication of ethos. It is descriptive study. Where the datataken from the daily activities of English department graduates. There are somesignificant findings. The first is the work ethos of English department alumnus is veryhigh. Second, the indication that influence of ethos as discipline, hard working,responsible, having a mission highly, etc. third, there are some dominant indication ofethos as discipline, hard working, and having a mission highly.
