Abstract

This research is found out the types of Indonesian-English code switchingare situational code switching and methaporichal code switching. The example ofsituatioanal are where is your absen, etc. The example of methaporical of codeswitching kok engak ad.a absen, hilang nya, etc. The data collection areobservation and documentation. The profile of students' ability on English lessonis good. This is shown on the average of examination score during one semester.The highest score is 88 and the lowest is 74. The standard of score have to beachieved is 65 score on English lesson in Learning Process. The standards ofscore have been achieved. There is the influence of code switching in developingstudents' ability; it can be seen on the calculation between questionnaire and theaverage of examination score student during one semester. The level significanton 0, 01/ 1 % is 0, 9630. t- table is 0,409. So HO is rejected.
