Abstract

The purposes of this research are divided into two parts. The firstpurpose of this research is to find out the educational values in the movie.The second purpose is to find out the implication of the movie in childreneducation. The methodology of this study is qualitative descriptive study,it is means that it does not need statistic approach to explore the material.In this research the writer research about the educational values of GiftedHands movie. Qualitative research is a search of which the data written ororal words are descriptive analyzed. The result of this study is there aresome of educational values in this movie the movie. From the analysis, itcan be concluded that there are life is struggle, optimism, long lifelearning, live on dream, self confident, love and affection, respectingparents, sacrifice, bravery, honesty, loyalty, dedication. The achievementsof this research are expected to give some contributions to further study ofeducational values. Practically, the study will give additional contributionto the English students. Theoretically, the study will add the literature oflinguistic. The writer hope the result of the research will give additioninformation, contribution arid stimulates for the students or readers instudying literature.
